Not too long ago, we realized that our fondest memories of childhood were the times we spent at camp or making theatre. We asked around and found that most grownups' faces lit up in agreement as they recalled their own similar experiences.
It is our vision to combine these two pastimes by providing a playful and nurturing environment for the children of Portland to explore their creativity at theatre camp. Our camp is designed for kids to be their best selves by discovering the rich and diverse world of dramatic arts through games, improvisation, design, and performance.
On stage or behind the scenes, our campers share their strengths and talents by working together to solve the complex and often hilarious challenges that theatre can present.
The result: a once-in-a-lifetime adventure they will cherish forever.

Hey there! I began my theatre journey in 1988 when I was cast in my first high school play. Since then I have lived the life of a journeyman actor, acting in over 60 stage productions plus films, television, and commercials. From NYC to Los Angeles and many cities in between, I have been fortunate enough to perform and teach acting all across America before finally settling here in America's gem, Portland, OR. I have both a BFA and an MFA in acting from UC Santa Barbara and Penn State University, respectively. I have been working in children's education since 2014 and have found the values and discipline of the theatre translate seamlessly. I currently teach at Shining Star Waldorf School and continue to enjoy a professional acting career.

Hello! As a kid I dreamt of being a working artist. At UC Santa Barbara I found the design component in the Dept. of Dramatic Arts and knew I had found my path. I went on to get an MFA in Theatre from UC San Diego. Professionally, I enjoyed designing for regional theaters around the country. One of my most favorite experiences was heading up the Costume Crew at Beverly Hills High School. For years, I had the pleasure of designing their productions and leading the students through the process of building the costumes. After that, the Halloween costume industry became my new home. My designs were sold in small businesses and major retailers all over the world. Currently, I'm on the Board of Directors of Arts For Learning. It is now my joy to share my experience with the students of Portland.
