Character is the Bridge Between Imagination and Limitation

At Bridge City Children’s Theatre, we believe in creating from the heart.   Guided and encouraged by a seasoned group of professional actors and educators, our camp is designed to enable children to use their curiosity and imagination to collectively build a world of their own, a world where everyone feels at home and the only rule is to have fun!

This is a place where kids can celebrate themselves and discover that those little quirks and idiosyncrasies that they might have some insecurities about often translate to their greatest talent!  The kid who is "too quiet" might just the observant eye of a master storyteller.  The organizer is ready to manage backstage.  The "bossy" child is comfortable with directing others.  The "unfocused" child surfs along a familiar melody or carries a monologue beginning to end, because the play gives them permission to lose themselves.

• Connection Over Applause: Our classes aren't about being a star or showing off. They’re about making friends, creating lifelong memories, learning valuable lessons, and  and realizing that being "different" is actually your greatest gift.
• Building Worlds, Not Just Watching Them: In a world that passes by on a screen, we invite the misfits and the dreamers to step out and build something real.

In 2026, kids are under enough pressure to be "perfect." Here, they just have to be themselves....
